about

In 1970 the Pantheistic Oratorio was composed. This composition was marked as a landmark in Lithuanian music history. Oratorio is considered to be a turning point in modern Lithuanian music and one of most important and influential Lithuanian con- temporary music scores. This Oratorio is first of the oratorio cycle The Tree of the World which was composed over 16 years. The composer states that the oratorio “has no consistent plot. The free fantasy obeys everything”.
